Deep-sea videocast is only japanese version available.
GANSEKI
GANSEKI(*) is the deep sea floor rock sample database provided by JAMSTEC. These rock samples were obtained on deep sea floor all over the world by JAMSTEC via its Research Vessels or manned/unmanned Deep Sea Submergence Vehicles. Users who want to be provided these rock samples are able to see photographs of the samples as well as chemical analysis data.
*"GANSEKI" means Rock in Japanese.

Virtual Earth
Virtual Earth is a 3D viewer that allows you to view various environmental information and observation data on a 3D earth in the virtual space on the computer and view terrain information from any angle.
To use the Virtual Earth system, the dedicated client software is required.
Download the installer for your environment and install it.
Earth observation database
GODAC archives and provides oceanographic and meteorological observation data obtained worldwide.
You can also create a visualization image from the extracted observation data on demand. In addition, you can obtain it online (download) or offline (CD-ROM).
To use this service, user registration is required.
